About Us

I began my work as an illustrator in 1985 soon after the birth of my first child. Previous to marriage, at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, I graduated with a BA in English Literature and a minor in Religion, As a youth I was blessed with many creative gifts ~ chief among these were art, music and poetry. I collected books and loved delving into sacred texts. With the life changing event of my first born, I felt drawn to revisit the Bible ~ for a deep, devoted dive ~ which inspired the need for a sketch pad, a box of paints and a drafting table! With my baby napping beside me, I worked to develop a collection of greeting cards, all biblically based. Within a few years I had three children under wing and a collection of 36 designs. In a prophecy taken from the book of Isaiah, I named the collection The Living Branch. I first chose to market the Living Branch Collection in the 1990’s, employing the usual strategies of trade shows and expos to secure a foothold in the retail marketplace. But this was not God’s timing ~ nor God’s method. It became clear that the priority at this time was to raise a family. For 20 years I facilitated that joy through income earned as a real estate professional. It was not until late 2021, my children grown and on their own, that I received a call to action in a still small voice. In response to the call, I sold my house and nearly all my possessions and moved across country, to Northern Arizona, close by the home of my firstborn son. By late 2022, living below the peaks of the Mingus Mountains, I endured a season of personal wilderness and then a blessing of spiritual reawakening. What began as a call evolved to a command: Abide, listen, and bring forth your gifts! Production of Living Branch cards began in early 2023 and today I present to you this collection.
